Under construction — first edition: artificial intelligence
Arab Critical Capabilities Atlas
The Open Map of Arab Capability in the Seven Technologies
We cannot own what we cannot see. Before we ask where the Arab world stands on the technologies that will shape the coming decade, we need to know what we actually have: where capability is built, who builds it, and what it still lacks. The atlas is that picture, open to everyone.
What the atlas is
An open map issued by VisionSeek. It traces critical technology capability in the Arab world — laboratories, factories, research teams, companies, and talent — across the seven technologies: chips, artificial intelligence, cloud and data, next-generation networks 5G-6G, robotics, clean energy and batteries, and biotech and health tech. The atlas is the database the Arab Technology Capability Index is built on.
How it works
Doors of exploration:
Explore by technology
Capability profiles
Gaps and openings
Data and method
What sets the atlas apart
Open
Available to everyone, free to explore and to cite.
A source for every fact
No point appears on the map without its declared source.
Correctable
Observed parties will be able to review their records and request a correction through a published procedure.
First edition
The atlas begins with one technology, artificial intelligence, from public sources only, then expands.
Who it is for
Decision-makers looking for the gap, funds and investors looking for the opening, companies looking for an Arab partner, researchers, and the press.
Methodology
Inclusion criteria will be published on their own page. Until then the frame is VisionSeek Reports Methodology 1.0. The Ownership Ladder — VisionSeek Reports Methodology 1.0
Results
The atlas does not issue scores or a ranking. Its output is entity records and their sources.
