With Dr. Ahmed Abdelalim

Citizen replies move faster, and internal administration gets clearer, without the session ever touching security work.

For the desks that answer people and run the office. Not for operations, and not for watching anyone.

Who it is for

Managers and staff in administration and citizen service.

A police institution, limited to the administrative side and the citizen's request. Security work is outside this masterclass.

Administration and citizen service only. Investigation, surveillance, monitoring, and every security function are out. If a task is operational, it does not enter the room.

Why now

The same citizen question is rewritten several times. The internal note is assembled by hand from scattered comments. The delay is in the writing, not in a missing system.

The OECD's Governing with Artificial Intelligence report, published on 18 September 2025, describes government use of AI to tailor internal processes and public services, and to improve the job quality and learning of public servants. That is the only lane this masterclass uses.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Before

Five questions about the office and the citizen desk. Nothing about an operation, a case, or a person under watch.

    1. Which citizen reply is rewritten because the first draft is never clear enough?
    2. Which administrative report is stitched together from scattered notes?
    3. Which question from visitors is answered from scratch every time?
    4. Where do hours go into copying the same words from one form to another?
    5. What must a person still check before any reply goes out?
  2. 02

    Inside

The team works on its own administrative cases: a reply, a short record, a service notice. A person still reads and sends whatever leaves the building.

  3. 03

    After

After 30 days we look at two things: time taken off those administrative tasks, and which tools are still in daily use.

What you leave with

  • A reply pattern for recurring citizen requests, still signed by the officer who owns it.
  • One administrative note produced from the team's own material.
  • A short list of tasks that stay human, written down so the tool does not wander.

Examples from the institution’s work

A citizen's written requestTurn a long complaint into a clear reply: what was received, what the office can do, and what happens next. The staff member edits and sends it.
An internal administrative recordTurn scattered meeting notes into a one-page record of what was agreed in the office. Not an operational report.
A service noticeRewrite a procedure the public needs to follow, in language a visitor can use without a second visit.

Short questions

Does this cover security work?

No. Not investigation, not surveillance, not monitoring. The door is the citizen desk and the administrative office.

Who sends the reply?

The person who already owns it. The tool drafts. It does not speak for the institution.
